Cheer Up for Vets ‘Card Warriors’
Become a Card Warrior!
What is a Cheer Up for Vets Card Warrior?
- Do you love to help veterans but don’t know how?
- Do you want to help veterans but don’t have a lot of extra time?
- Do you love to send cards to spread joy and cheer?
- Do you have an extra card or two laying around?
Remember the last time you got something in the mail that wasn’t junk mail or bills… ugh, that likely made you smile, right? Well, that’s exactly what Cheer Up for Vets is all about, bringing cheer to vets wherever they are.
How does it work?
Remember that we are a new non-profit just starting out so volunteers and donations are where it’s at. If one person were to write out 25 cards, that could be a lot, but if you have an extra Christmas card and could put a little cheer in it and send it out… or if you have some extra birthday cards, blank cards, could stop by a dollar type store and pick up a few, that where there is a need, just fill it out and send it wheExit Visual Buildern we get a request for one.
You know the saying…. It Takes a Village, well, what better recipient than those that fought for our Country, for OUR Freedom!?
So, head to our contact form and check the “Write Cards to Vets” box and any notes in the additional details section. Then, when we get a “Refer a Veteran” request that needs cheer, we will email out the request for you to send out your card from wherever you are. All it takes is some simple cards/postcards, a stamp and 5 minutes of your time. Such a simple thing for someone who sacrificed their life for our freedom, don’t you agree?!

Get Involved. Get in Touch.
Our Mission is: to show gratitude and honor veterans, with a focus on senior veterans, with visits, check ins, phone calls, cards, care packages, referrals to services, and similar efforts to remember and thank them for their service.
